Nobby Beach station (Stage 3 corridor). Stations south of Broadbeach South (Stage 3) are open for passengers from 9 August 2026; services start.
First tram, last tram, special events
What time do trams start? Around 5:00 am on weekdays from most stations — check your stop on Translink.
What time do trams stop? Core weekday service runs until about midnight.
Do trams run 24/7? Not every day. Weekend overnight service is the usual pattern; weekdays are not 24-hour.
Events (marathons, major festivals): extra early or frequent services may be added — My G: and Translink alerts are the best source.
Full line after Stage 3
Passenger services currently run Helensvale ↔ Burleigh Heads (27 stations, ~27 km). Stage 3 (Broadbeach South to Burleigh Heads, 8 stations) opened 9 August 2026 — use Translink announces services. When it opens, Translink will publish updated tram times for the full line. Project detail: Stages.
